Student Leadership

We develop and celebrate student leaders in our schools. Being a leader is a valuable skill that prepares students for their futures.

  • Students are encouraged to take on a variety of leadership roles in their school and in their classroom.
  • Students are offered leadership opportunities based upon their interests.

When students engage in these opportunities, they are better prepared and have the skills they need for future jobs and scholarships.

Teacher Leadership

Teachers embrace a range of leadership roles to support student success. We encourage teachers to lead in their areas of expertise. These leaders support growth in their schools by helping others become stronger teachers.

School Board

The WPS Board of Education plays an active role in supporting CBS. The board writes policies and approves resolutions to support CBS. Board members share their perspective on CBS at state and national conferences.

Community

Community partners are important to our success. We honor these partnerships and invite all parents, businesses and community leaders to come together to help all student succeed.
