Standards (Proficiency Scales)

The WPS curriculum is designed to offer students the skills and knowledge to be successful the day after graduation. Our standards have been organized by related ideas in a tool we call a Proficiency Scale.

Students work on standards at their current level, regardless of their age and traditional grade. No matter what class a student is in, the WPS standards tell what students must know to move on to the next level. Unlike a traditional school system, in CBS students must show a complete understanding of the content to move on to the next level.
